I only know of three match-ups so far but all three should be good. I'll be facing Jay Roberts for the WyoMMA ammy LHW title in the main event.

Lloyd Blackbird will face Tony Woodruff for the ammy MW title. Seeing Tony's last fight I have to say he looks to be in descent shape. Lloyd may not look to be much but his first fight was proof enough that the guy won't quit. I spar with him and don't put him down. I dubt a guy his size will have any better luck.

Cody Havercamp will face Robert Stout. After Codys utter domination of Brandon Greene I am kind of giddy for this one. Cody handled the student, how will he face against the coach?? Robert is far more experienced than Cody. But I am pretty confidant in my preperation of Cody. I don't think Robert wll show anything in the cage that I haven't put on him in 7 months of sparring. It'll be interesting to see how the experiences pays out though. And I see Robert has been sliming down. We gots us a David and Goliath type fight.

Anything new on the fightcard Dave?? From what I can figure from past convorstions there is going to be 4 title fights. I know Randy had to vacate his belt due to health reasons. Just wondering who is up to fight Dameon for that spot? Danny is going to face Dallas and do away with this interum nonsense. Lloyd will be going against Tony for the MW belt and I'll be on Jay like white on rice for the LHW belt. That sounds like the meat-n-potatos of a good card right there. But is there anything on the fights on the card though?? The only other fight I am certain of is Cody vs Robert. And I am thinking that fight should be a contention fight to have the right to dance with Lance (hee hee I made a rhyme(wow... that was gayer than a dick with sparkles)). With less than 4 weeks out I am getting antsy to see what else is firming up on the card.

I would agree with you if the fights were for pro belts. But in the ammy ranks waiting arrond for a "pecking order" could take quite a while.

You either have:
A) guys who fight in to many places to make frequent enough showing to defend a possible title.
B) Not enough reliable, dependable fighters (no shows are an all too common thing) to draw from to establish a really good contention pool.
Or
C) Ammies with more than 5 fights aren't a real common thing. I know there are few in WMMA but I think that has more to do with the lack of/distance to pro options here in Wy.

So getting guys with what you'd deem a title worthy record isn't feesable. The titles were started befor Dave took over and he just has to run with it. Besides, your avereage fella just buying a ticket to kill a night most likely could give a shit less what the guys record is. He just wants to see a fight. But it is reffreshng to know that at least some people actually follow the sport enough to care. So the next time I hear some indiot screaming "knee him in the fucking head" when it's on the ground you definetly aren't going on my "who's the idiot in the crowd screaming retarded shit" list.

And I know for a fact no body fighting for any title is 0-1.

I have followed wmma for a little while and I have only seen/heard of the Blackbird fellow fighting once. I seen one of is fights he lost, not due to lack of heart, it was a decision I beleive. But wouldnt that make him 0-1, and isnt he scheduled for a title fight??? Although I hear he has a good coach...

Lloyd fought and won his last fight in Mountain View in a fast and dominant fashion. That coupled with his three rounder, which in my book should have been a unanimous draw, prompted Dave to offer him a go at he ammy belt. Btw, that win would put him at 1-1. And from what I can piece together, Tony Woodruff is either 1-1, 2-1 or 1-2. All that said, Tony is out. So Lloyd won't be fighting for the belt. But after he wins this next one there shouldn't be any reason he shouldn't be given a shot.

On another Note Seaw Watson will be heading to SLC for a grappling tourney so anyone that see's him or on here wish him luck and sean we are all behind you.

Lloyd will be fighting Brandon Wiseman out of Raw Town. I have been to Rawlins and seen those guys at work. I respect what Dameon has going there and look forward to seeing Lloyd match up with a guy who takes his training seriously.
